The center aims to develop a big-data platform based on digital-based analytics of natural products in Korean medicinal plants and investigates natural drug candidates against chronic/rare diseases such as asthma/COPD, cancers and spinal muscular atrophy from plant sources.
Research Areas
Natural product chemistry for digital-based big data analytics
Drug candidate discovery for chronic respiratory diseases
Cancer immunotherapeutic agent screening
Discovery of drug candidate for the treatment of spinal muscular atrophy (SMA)
Isolation of natural drug candidates from domestical/international plant sources
Development of big-data platform for investigation of Korean medicinal plants
Construction of plant extract bank
