At the KRIBB's Daejeon Head Office on June 19th, 2013, KRIBB (Korea Research Institute of Bioscience & Biotechnology, President Tae Kwang Oh) entered into a Memorandum of Understanding with Max Planck Institute for Biophysical Chemistry (Managing Director Gregor Eichele) located in Germany, for joint research and technology exchange.

Max Planck Institute for Biophysical Chemistry (www.mpibpc.mpg.de) is one of the 13 research institutes of Max Planck Society, which is a world-renowned fundamental science research institution of Germany. Under the MOU, the KRIBB and Max Planck Institute for Biophysical Chemistry will exchange researchers and conduct technology training as well as joint research with each other.

The MOU signed with the German institute will make it easier for KRIBB to join the Korea-Hungary collaborative research project undertaken by the Korea Research Council of Fundamental Science and Technology.
